SAACOSH has full accreditation with the HWSETA for the National Certificate (NC): Occupational Hygiene, Safety and Environment (OHSE) NQF Level 2, Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Occupational Hygiene and Safety (OHS) NQF Level 4 and unit standards from the NC: OHS NQF Level 3, incorporated into the OHS Practitioner Development Programme (PDP). Accreditation Number: HWSETA 591PA 2007/05/03/0014.

As soon as other targeted qualifications are registered with SAQA, SAACOSH will apply for accreditation from the HWSETA to ensure all training and learning programmes align with the quality requirements as specified by SAQA and the Skills Development Act.

SAACOSH has associations with SAFEmap Africa, the leader in the field of competence based safety and Growth-Link, a pace setter in the human resource development field. SAFEmap Africa under the leadership of Francois Smith, a well known player in the field of behavioural safety, has established a reputation of commitment to the development of H&S practitioners. Growth-Link provides HR and management training to a huge client group, notably UNISA, Volvo, SABS, Vodacom and the SABC. This gives SAACOSH access to the latest thinking in HR and management development as well as behaviour based initiatives!
